The institute publishes the arts magazine Emzin and organizes educational seminars on graphic design and photography. It is also the selector for the exhibitions held in the gallery Avla of Slovenia’s main national bank, Nova Ljubljanska banka, and the organizer of the Photo of the Year Contest to award Slovenia’s best photography. The projects we are in charge of are non-profit. The magazine is financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia while other projects are done under the auspices of occasional sponsors. All the projects are culture-oriented and through the years they have proved to be challenging enough to arouse keen interest. Emzin magazine is dedicated to the promotion of art and culture with particular emphasis on visual arts, graphic design and photography.
